Leave the praise and talk about Xbox gaming performance.
Phil Spencer already owns the Steam platform and is pleased with Valve’s hardware.
The Xbox leader revealed that he already received his Steam Deck this week and has spent some time playing Xbox games away from home and is very excited about Valve’s portable ability to play games from their studios.
“I was at Valve this week talking to Scott and Erik and Gabe about the Steam Deck. Having had it on me most days of the week, I can say it’s a very good device,” Spencer said.
After revealing that he actually owns a Steam Deck, Spencer commented that technologies like xCloud work very well on the device and even commented that he likes the laptop’s controls.
“Gaming is with me everywhere, screen size, controls are great. Playing Halo and Age is really good, xCloud works really well. Congratulations to the Steam Deck team.”
The Spencer Awards are sure to get more people looking forward to Steam Deck, and as the leader of Xbox, with over 873,000 followers on Twitter, it can help introduce the mobile device to the distracted people who haven’t heard of it.
