CD PROJEKT RED premiered a new trailer for Phantom Liberty, the spy thriller expansion to Cyberpunk 2077, at the Game Awards 2022. The teaser showcases new in-game and gameplay footage, as well as revealing a new cast member.
The teaser shown at the awards ceremony reveals a new area of Night City called Dogtown, which is the main setting for the expansion, as well as flashes of new gameplay and additions. It also reveals new characters, the main one being Solomon Reed.
Played by actor Idris Elba (Luthor, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Suicide Squad), who joins the cast of Phantom Liberty alongside Keanu Reeves, who plays Johnny Silverhand, Reed is a veteran agent on Team New. united. States of America and he seems to be the only person players can trust to help them accomplish the impossible mission of espionage and survival.

After the humorous climax, the actor addressed audiences and gamers around the world in a special video, commenting on Reed’s character and his role in the story of Phantom Liberty.
