Paula – Benfica beat Braga and reached the semi-finals (futsal).

Benfica defeated Braga 3-8, in the semi-finals of the National Futsal Championship supplement.

After winning 4-1 in Braga, in the first match, the Reds again defeated Guerreiros do Minho, this time in Pavilhão da Luz, in Lisbon, and stamped their passport to the semi-finals.

Afonso Jesus’s goal, in the fourth minute, was the motto of an inspiring night from Joel Rocha’s men, who scored two more goals in the first half: Ivan Chishkala and Al-Tibi scored 3-0 in the first half.

In the second 20 minutes, Benfica’s advantage continued on the ground, and for that reason, it was not surprising that the indicator turned on again. Tibi returned to the taste for foot and Jacquary – with a steady shot from his defensive midfield, when SC Braga played with an advanced goalkeeper – increased the struggle.

However, SC Braga never lowered his arms and managed to reduce the handicap: Bruno Sintra, a penalty kick, Thiago Britto, an own goal, and Miguel Angelo, in just two minutes, put the scoreboard in 5-3.

Benfica is back in pregnancy, taking advantage of the fact that Arsenal players play without a goalkeeper, and have scored two virtually consecutive goals, through Ivan Chishkala and Nelson. Jacaré, at the entrance to the last minute, sealed the final 8-3.

With this victory, Benfica scored a place in the semi-finals of the play-offs, as they already knew they would play against Fundão, who left Viseu 2021 en route.

The other semi-final match will put Les de Porto Salvo and Sporting head-on.
