sNearly ten years after its release on PC, Papers, Please will also arrive on Android and iOS mobile phones. The news was brought up by producer Lucas Pope himself through his Twitter page.
Papers Please puts the player in the shoes of a border policeman who is responsible for examining immigrant documents, looking for potential errors and determining who can or cannot cross the border. However, the player will face ethical dilemmas that force him to review his role in his duties.
The concept and simplicity of “Leaves, Please” have made it one of the most popular games by critics and players of the past decade, making it particularly attractive now that it has hit mobile phones. Bob was careful to note that this mobile version of “Papers, Please” was created specifically for the small mobile worker, so the experience shouldn’t be compromised.
An Android release is scheduled for August 5th, with iOS devices getting the “paperwork, please” shortly thereafter.
