For more than 25 years, Nissen has led the Pandox hotel group, controlled by Christian Ringnes and the Sundt sisters.
Pandox listed in Stockholm writes in one Stock market announcement Sunday, Anders Nissen, who had held the position of CEO since its inception in 1995, died after struggling with the disease for a short period.
On Friday last week, Pandox announced that Nissen is undergoing medical treatment for COVID-19.
Eiendomsspar of Christian Ringnes is the largest shareholder of the hotel group, which was listed on the stock exchange in 2015.

Liia Nõu, Chief Financial Officer, will take over the acting CEO position during this period.
Sundt siblings Christian and Helen are Pandox’s second-largest shareholders.
