On Friday, 20 songs and their translators were released at the 2022 edition of the Cansau Festival. Names like Aurea, Os Quatro e Meia, Fado Bicha or Os Azeitonas are some of the most notable events promoted by RTP.

The first festival semi-final will take place on March 5, and the second round is scheduled for two days later, March 7. Sonia Araujo and Jorge Gabriel will give the premiere; Tania Ribas de Oliveira and Jose Carlos Malato II. The final will take place on March 12, and will be hosted by Filomena Cautilla and Vasco Palmeram.

Each semi-finalist will qualify for the final five songs. Half of the score is awarded by a jury, while the other half is awarded to spectators. See the list of 20 artists, songs and authors.
