OPPO is one of the manufacturers that is gradually conquering not only the Asian smartphone market running Android, but also asserting itself in Europe. In fact, it is already ranked 4th in Portugal despite being a relatively new brand in our market.
It not only shows the capabilities of this manufacturer, but also the good reception by Portuguese consumers who can currently rely on the Oppo Reno6 range on the market. However, we already know some characteristics of their successor, the range OPPO Reno7.
The Oppo Reno7 range should be presented by the end of 2021
First of all, we know that OPPO is already preparing the Reno7 range and, contrary to what we might expect, we will not have a higher version in the Reno7 Pro +. Instead, we will have a cheaper version in OPPO Reno7 SE.
This strategic choice shows us that the Chinese manufacturer wants to strengthen its presence in one of the most popular market segments, the mid-range. At the same time, according to the leak, we will also have the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro mid-range smartphones.
In particular, the OPPO Reno7 and Reno7 Pro models will share most of the technical characteristics. Namely, they will both have the same 6.5-inch OLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz on the base model and 120Hz on the Pro model.
Likewise, we will have a 4,500 mAh battery in both models, with fast charging at 65W also present in the two smartphones in question.
We will have three new Android smartphones in the OPPO Reno7 range
The imaging department is another point where the models differ. So, for the base model – OPPO Reno7, we will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor for the main camera. It will also have a 16-megapixel ultrawide camera and a third 2-megapixel camera.
On the other hand, the OPPO Reno7 Pro will have a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor for the main camera, an OmniVision OV64B sensor for the 64MP ultra-wide-angle camera and finally a third 13MP sensor for telephoto shooting. camera.
Right after that, in terms of processors, we have the same scenario as the current generation. Namely on OPPO Reno7 SE we have MediaTek’s SoC Dimensity 1200. On OPPO Reno7 Pro model we have Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm.
Added to this is 8GB or 12GB of RAM, plus 128GB or 256GB of internal storage for this range. Note that these values may change until the official presentation of Android smartphones.
These new boosts will be for the mid and mid/high segment
The new range of Android smartphones will also show differences in the screen. More specifically, in OPPO Reno7 SE we have a screen of 6.43 inches diagonally at 90 Hz. On the front, we will also have a 32-megapixel camera in both.
Moreover, in the cheapest model we have a battery with a capacity of 4300 mAh with fast charging of the brand at 65 W, which is a well-established quality standard. It should be noted that the information provided by modes Spanish.
Finally, we still don’t have an official date for the presentation of the OPPO Reno7 range. We know they may arrive in China in November, with a later introduction to other global markets.
