NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti dominates weekly GPU sales at German retailers, selling more cards than the RX7000 and Arc combined

Last week, NVIDIA sold more RTX 4070 Ti cards than all Radeon RX 7000 and Arc Alchemist cards combined.

According to the latest sales data from Technique NVIDIA has sold over 500 GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards.

In the third week of January, NVIDIA sold 545 models of the RTX 4070 Ti. This includes all variants sold by German retailer Mindfactory. That number is higher than the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, which sold 210 and 190 units, respectively.

That number of RTX 4070 Ti cards sold in one week means it outperforms the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, RX 7900 XT, and Intel Arc A770/A380 combined. The latter is a particularly bad sell right now, with only 20 combined sales of Alchemist GPUs.

Sales of the RX 7900 series clearly lag behind the NVIDIA RTX 40 GPUs, with only 300 XTX cards and 200 XT models sold. However, the RX 7900 XTX that was advertised as a direct competitor to the 4080 managed to sell another 110 units, despite the custom builds currently available.

Furthermore, AMD sold 410 units of the Radeon RX 6700 XT and NVIDIA RTX 3060 was the best seller with 485 units. This shows how important the mid-range segment is right now, but neither AMD nor NVIDIA have officially revealed their plans for the next generation of this segment. The third competitor, Intel, sold only 10 units of the Arc A770 offering the same price and performance.
