the Poland lost in Warsaw on Saturday to Portugal (1-3), and after the final whistle, Robert Lewandowski's dissatisfaction with the game plan and the work of his teammates became clear.

The Barcelona striker was not very active in the match, and speaking to TVP Sport, Lewandowski explained: “My task is not to go down to the defensive line to receive the ball.”

After that, the Polish star said that during the match he had to be “closer to the penalty area and wait there for crosses, passes and balls until something happens.”

He concluded: “This is something we need to improve or change. Not only against Portugal, but in general, we don't seem to have the ball near the opponent's area very often.”
