MWC 2023 | Sony offers Bravia TVs in Mini LED, LED and OLED technologies

Sony broke with years of tradition by not introducing new TVs during January’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and preferred to wait a little longer to present the following month, at Mobile World Congress (MWC), its Bravia 2023 line of TVs with Mini screens. LED, LED and OLED.

Models in the Bravia XR line feature technologies such as Cognitive Processor XR with XR clear image to reproduce content naturally, reducing noise and motion blur for more accurate scenes.

Its processor also supports the XR Backlight Master Drive algorithm that precisely controls the display’s tiny LEDs for greater adjustment of brightness, dynamic range, and black.

Audio Sync allows supported speaker models to deliver simplified pairing and more immersive sound with a clear center channel and focus on dialogue.

The TVs also have technologies such as Pure Stream, IMAX Enhanced and BRAVIA CORE Calibrated More so as not to disappoint movie and series fans who seek maximum quality audiovisual productions, maintaining a high color profile and accuracy.

All models come with Google TV OS with dozens of streaming apps, a Crunchyroll button built into the remote control for quick access to the world’s largest anime streaming platform and a greater focus on sustainability while reducing plastic use and CO2 emissions in moving TVs.

Finally, the models provide a new space dedicated to games, and according to the company, the TVs are ideal for the PlayStation 5 thanks to the Auto HDR Tone Mapping technologies and the automatic picture type selection mode, in addition to the presence of HDMI 2.1 ports with support for the rate of 120 Hz, which results in smoother games.

The company is also following competitors like Samsung and LG by finally including a custom game menu, bringing optimization features to next-generation consoles and a more refined picture setting.
