Marco Besicki won the “Speed Race” of the Dutch Motorcycle Grand Prix, which was held in Assen, the cathedral of motorcycle speed.
The Italian rider Ducati Mooney VR46 had secured the “first place”, but at the start he lost two places and left the lead to his compatriot Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo).
On the fourth lap, however, Bizicki regained the lead and did not let go.
Miguel Oliveira, who started 11th, finished 19th.
The Portuguese from Aprilia RNF reached sixth place, but that was for a while. Suddenly, it fell to the last place, and then went to “chasing the loss”, to finish in the nineteenth place.
It is worth noting that the second place went to Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) and the third to Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), who took advantage of Brad Bender’s penalty kick. The South African from Red Bull KTM did not respect the limits of the track and was penalized with a “long lap”, but since we were already on the last lap, the penalty was three seconds last time, dropping him to fifth.
Bagnaia still leads the general classification, now with 169 points, 21 points more than Jorge Martin and 31 points more than Marco Bizzicki.
The feature extends slightly to 21! 💪
