Moreau also praised the science and said the vaccine doses averted the bad symptoms of Covid-19.
“Woke up with discomfort and mild symptoms of Covid virus. It will pass. God bless science and vaccines, otherwise it would have been much worse,” he wrote on Twitter.
The presidential candidate also said he would remain isolated and canceled all meetings scheduled for next week. Among them was a meeting with the former Minister of Health, Luis Henrique Mandetta (Dim), who also intended to launch his candidacy for the Planalto Palace.
Moreau and Mandetta should discuss a possible alliance between Podemos and União Brasil, a party that grew out of the DEM and PSL. In addition to the ex-minister, Luciano Pivar and Mendonca Filho are out of the race for the position of Vice President.
In addition to the former judge, former President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), Governor João Doria (PSDB) and President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) were other presidential candidates who tested positive for Covid-19.
