“Finally back to Panama!” – a phrase heard over and over again on Friday Reina. From festival organizers or visitors: They all celebrated the first day of the two-day Panama Open Festival. Real world stars were on the main stage, with Black Eyed Peas, Bastille, DJ Snake or All Colors. Not only is the lineup interesting this weekend, but so are the different stages.

While the festival is known for its lavish decorations, this year the Crave Events team upped the ante. The main stage lived up to its name: wooden and paneled with state-of-the-art lighting technology, it was a real eye-catcher. Performers’ performances were telecasted on multiple screens.
The festival continues on Saturday. Among others, Bausa, French Montana, Boris Brejcha and Fritz Kalkbrenner will arrive on six stages to warm up the audience. Organizers are expecting a record visitor arrival for the day, with more than 20,000 people expected at the festival site.
