It’s obviously time to move on and move on, but it’s very difficult,” he admitted this Saturday, with tears in his eyes, Micael Carrera, on the show. Conta-me’ with Manuel Luis Josha on TVI. The singer was referring to the death of his sister, Sarah Carrera, who died on December 5, 2020, in a car accident on the A1, in Povoa da Esenta, in Santarem. He was only 21 years old.

In an emotional conversation, punctuated by silence, Mikael Carrera revealed that since then, there’s a song he can’t sing: “Gosto de Ti,” a theme originally introduced by Sarah Carrera and David Carrera. He said, “I can’t sing that song!” “It’s impossible. It’s impossible for me.”

In the interview, the musician from the Carrera clan also spoke about the divorce of his parents, admitting that the separation of Tony Carrera and Fernanda Antunes, which became official in 2019, cost him a lot.

“At the time it was a little complicated, because you always have a picture of your parents together, which is what we all stand for and see for the rest of our lives,” he said. The 36-year-old artist admitted: “At the time of the breakup, I asked myself: How did this happen? Today, looking back, I realized that maybe it was the best for them.” “They should be happy. And that’s the most important thing for me, for David, and it was also for Sarah. At first, it was weird, because we were always together. We continued, but in a different way,” he concluded.
