Microsoft has made some changes to Bing Chat, the company’s new AI platform. In recent days, some restrictions have been implemented, focusing on preventing AI from providing answers somewhat out of context – something Microsoft claims is linked to long conversations within it.
Initially, Microsoft set a limit of 50 chats per user, per day, under its new platform, and users needed to “clear” the conversation thread every five replies. Later, this limit was increased to 60 answers per day.
Now, it appears that the company is preparing for the new changes. Mikhail Barakhin, Director of Microsoft’s Web Services and Advertising Division, came to confirm in Twitter The company is preparing some changes to Bing Chat.
This includes increasing the number of responses on the platform to 100 per day, as well as removing questions associated with surveys from the daily count.
Finally, the company also claims to have corrected Edge’s sidebar borders, which some users have reported to be incorrect. These new changes to the platform should begin to take effect in the next two to three days.
At the same time, Microsoft also claims that its chatbot has received significant improvements, as it is now more accurate in the answers to be given, and improvements should also be made in terms of queries, providing more relevant answers.
Considering all the changes made in recent days, this chatbot’s limit of 100 messages per day is expected to increase again in the near future.
