During the Miss Grand International competition in 2020, many young women competed for the title of Miss this year.
At the time, Argentine actress Mariana Varela (26) and Fabiola Valentine (22) of Puerto Rico were in the top ten.
Despite not going to the top of the pageant, the romance between the pageant queens is beginning to blossom.

Now they are also officially married. Reports, among others New York Post.
Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico have been secretly dating for two years. They revealed it in an Instagram post, to their combined 245,000 followers.
They never hid that they had a good friendship, which they also seriously shared on social media, but the couple now admit that they also chose to take their friendship a step further.
“After keeping our relationship private, we are now opening the doors to our relationship on a very special day,” they wrote in the post.
Furthermore, it appears that they got married on October 28.
The post has so far been viewed more than two million times.

In the post, you can see many flashbacks from the romantic trips they had together in recent years. After the travel clips, you can watch a clip from their engagement night.
Among other things, you can see Valentine putting an engagement ring on Varela’s finger.
Same-sex marriage became legal in Argentina in 2010, while Puerto Rico legalized it five years later, in 2015.
