The cause of death of Philadelphia Union player Holden Trent has not been revealed

North American soccer mourns the death of Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Holden Trent at the age of 25. The American League club announced the player's death, but did not reveal the cause of death, as Trent's family posted this week on Instagram that he was in the intensive care unit in a hospital.

“The Philadelphia Union is devastated by the passing of Holden Trent. Although he was a great player and a fierce competitor, he was, above all, a son, a brother, a fiancé and a devoted teammate who made those around him better.
