The tank, named Frankenstein, will be equipped with the advanced Skyranger anti-aircraft gun.

This gun is known for its advanced sensors that provide a 360-degree view of the battlefield, making it well-suited for combating drones.

It is currently unclear when Ukrainian forces will receive Frankenstein tanks.

During the war, Ukraine showed a good ability to develop its defense against air attacks, and news about the tank comes on the same day that Russia makes a rare concession.

He acknowledges the loss of prestige aircraft

Russian authorities confirmed that Ukraine shot down one of its A-50 surveillance planes in February. Ten Russian crew members died in the accident.

This confirmation comes from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, which detained the Ukrainian brigade commander, Mykola Dzhman, in absentia. The Russians believe that Zgman, who heads the Ukrainian 138th Brigade, was the one who gave the order to shoot down the plane.

Already in February, Ukrainian authorities claimed to have destroyed a Russian A-50 aircraft in a joint operation between the Air Force and the Military Intelligence Service. The incident was considered a major victory for Ukraine, as the A-50 aircraft are of great value to the Russians, with a price of more than three billion Norwegian kroner per piece.

Russia has used the planes to coordinate missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, and their loss represents a major blow to the Russian war effort.
