The landslide is said to have occurred at 18:00 in Lilla Edet outside Gothenburg. Injuries have been reported.

– The E45 is completely closed in both directions between Sjuntorpsmotet and Lilla Edetmotet, according to the Swedish Road Traffic Centre.

Images from the scene show that several cars were partially submerged and several were trapped by the landslide. The report said that about 30 cars were left disabled and about 20 homes were flooded. Express.
