LabMóvel returns to Azambuja municipality to promote science and innovation – Correio de Azambuja

From this Tuesday, September 6, and until next Friday, the ninth, the municipality of Azambuja will once again receive LabMóvel – a mobile innovation laboratory, with the aim of promoting science, innovation and school success. Among the participants of the AAAF holidays – animation and family support activities, which take place in the municipality, but also a set of innovative activities, aimed at the whole community.

In this educational lab, participants will be able to implement augmented reality activities, creative experiments, technology, electronics and music. The objective of this program is to stimulate innovation and creativity, bring together technologies and sciences, encourage learning through hands-on experiences and promote the development of skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, problem solving, communication, responsibility, self-confidence, and digital. Literacy and Entrepreneurship.

Anyone interested in visiting LabMóvel can visit LabMóvel free of charge, and this Tuesday, between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm, the mobile laboratory will be at the Alcoentre Volunteer Fire Brigade, then head to Praça dos Imperadores in Manique do Intendente, where it will be stopped between the hours 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The Mobile Laboratory for Innovation and Learning through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (CTEM) is one of the tools of the integrated and innovative plan to combat school failure in Lezíria do Tejo (PiiCiE LT) to which the municipality of Azambuja is connected. The scheme is co-financed by the European Social Fund (Portugal 2020 / Alentejo 2020) and this LabMóve “consists of a converted bus that provides a range of important technologies for education.

It should be noted that PiiCiE LT, promoted by the international community in Lezíria do Tejo (CIMLT) and co-financed by the European Social Fund (Portugal 2020 / Alentejo 2020), aims to enhance the success of the school by implementing integrated actions in the positive education model and education for Innovation, with the aim of promoting the improvement of school outcomes and educational practices, contributing to equal opportunities and building a quality, independent, creative and innovative school.
