Stanislav Krytsuk has not played since February 12, 2023 due to a serious injury
Goalkeeper Kritsuk, who trained for a few weeks in Barcelos to regain his fitness, is close to returning to the team, according to A BOLA.
The 33-year-old Russian goalkeeper has a strong relationship with the Minho club, a feeling that is mutual on the part of the Gelista management and is developing positively, at a time when coach Vitor Campelos Andreu will be missing between January and February, due to the goalkeeper being called up to the Brazilian U-23 national team.
Kritsuk was released last summer, while still recovering from a serious right knee injury last season, and has not competed since February 12, 2023.
Due to Andrew's good performance, Gil Vicente asked Kritsuk to find solutions outside Barcelos, a situation that would not happen, largely due to his physical condition.
Krytsuk arrived in Portugal in 2012, where he played three seasons (Braga and Rio Ave) and returned to Russia (2015-2020) to represent Krasnodar. A year after making his debut at Gil Vicente, Kritsuk returned to FC Barcelona in June 2022. The previous season he represented B-SAD.
Stanislav Krytsuk has a contract with Gil Vicente until July 2025.
