Prince Harry revealed the letters that were exchanged between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, which led to a falling out between them, just days before the wedding of the Dukes of Sussex.
The reason for the “discussion” was Princess Charlotte’s dress.
Kate: “Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too loose. She cried when I tried it on at home.”
Meghan: “Well, I told you the tailor has been here since eight in the morning. Here. Kensington Palace. Can you take Charlotte to change hands like other mothers do?”
Prince William’s wife did not accept the proposal, and demanded that the dresses be “redesigned”, even talking to the designer himself, who agreed.
In order for the Princess of Wales to understand the tremendous pressure she was going through, Meghan asked if Kate was aware of the problems she was having with her father, Thomas Markle.
“Kate said she knew what was going on, but she wanted to know about the dresses. The wedding was in four days!” Harry describes in the book “In the Shadow”.
Meghan replied: “I don’t know what else to tell you. If the dress doesn’t fit, take Charlotte to Ajay. He’s been waiting all day.”
Then Kate concluded, “Okay.”
Harry reveals that he later found his partner crying on the “floor” of his house.
It is reported that Megan announced the anger in 2021 during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. The Duchess of Sussex recalled the news that Meghan had made Kate cry in preparation for the wedding, when in fact “the opposite happened”.
