Kamala Harris at a massive rally: She warned against Donald Trump

One week before the fateful US elections, Harris rallied his supporters to stick with his supporters “Closing arguments”as it is called somewhat misleadingly, although there are still more election meetings to come.

“This will be the most important election of their lives,” Harris began.

The speech was delivered on the Ellipse, which is located between the White House and Congress.

It is the same place where Donald Trump gave his famous speech on January 6, 2021, before storming Congress.

We know who Donald Trump is: he is the one who stood in this place and sent an armed crowd against the US Congress, after an election that he knew he had lost.

Trump was later charged with inciting the riot, in a case that has been postponed for the time being.

Donald Trump sat in the White House and watched what happened. He learned from his staff that the mob wanted to kill Vice President Mike Pence. He answered that “so what”Harris said in his speech.

Trump kept it “Closing arguments” During a massive rally in New York on Sunday, where VG was also present.

Watch the video from Harris' campaign rally below:

Trump filled the famous Madison Square Garden with 19,500 supporters, and the organizer claimed that at least a similar number were outside.

Harris filled the Ellipse Arena on Tuesday with as many as 75,000 supporters, according to the organizer.

VG attended both events as an audience, but cannot assess the number of attendees.

“Trump's internal enemies”

During his campaign rally, Trump said Harris was nothing more than a puppet controlled by a malicious inner circle in the Democratic Party, which he referred to as America's “internal enemy.”

On Wednesday night he received the answer:

– Donald Trump intends to use the US military against American citizens who disagree with him. He calls it the enemy within, Harris replied.

Trump comes to the White House with a list of enemies. I will come with a to-do list. Donald Trump wants to put those who disagree with him in prison. I want to give them a seat at the table,” says Harris.

– Unstable, dangerous, and obsessed with the idea of revenge.

He fears civil war

Harris' supporters were also upset by much of what appeared during Trump's campaign rally.

-There is a lot of bad news from Trump. “I take him seriously when he talks about his racism,” says Brenda Johnson, 54, who was at Harris’ campaign rally with her niece, Adrienne Finney, 16.

In particular, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who opened the Trump meeting, was criticized for making several jokes about Latinos, which were considered racist.

“There's an island of garbage floating in the sea. I think it's called Puerto Rico.”Hinchcliffe said, among other things.

-It was disgusting and nauseating. Johnson says it is a disgrace to our country that such hateful statements could be uttered at a political meeting.

She is an American citizen, originally from the island Puerto Rico.

Harris's supporter believes that meeting with Trump increases the risk of violent conflict in the United States:

– If Trump loses but refuses to accept it, I fear a civil war will break out. She says: If he wins, I fear a holocaust for all of us of Latino origin.

The guy next door, Dennis Molloy (70), hears what we're talking about and takes the floor:

– You must understand that even an old white man like me believes that what was said, with Trump's approval, was shameful, terrible and unforgivable, he said.

A noticeable difference for Biden

Harris has previously been criticized for not being different from President Joe Biden.

She made an attempt last night:

-I was proud to be Joe Biden's vice president. But my presidency will be different, because the problems we face now are differentp.

It also made several concrete promises: capping the prices of more food and medicine, providing cheap mortgages to first-time buyers, and expanding the health system to include free home care for the elderly.

Harris

The abortion battle

Additionally, Harris noted a disagreement with Trump on two controversial topics:

  • Trump said in his huge rally that he would close the borders and deport illegal immigrants. Harris also promised to tighten the border, but says she would give immigrants who are here the chance to work to gain citizenship.
  • Trump has credited the Supreme Court with overturning the federal right to abortion, but says states will now decide for themselves. Harris believes that Trump actually wants to impose a complete ban, while she wants to give women the right to do so.

Specifically, women's right to abortion is the most important issue for voter Francesca Lothard (22).

The authorities should not judge my body. Everything is private between me and my doctor, and only I can decide, she said.

Most women

In recent weeks, Harris has lost his lead over Trump in opinion polls in several swing states.

The big problem Harris faces is that she receives fewer votes than expected from African-American men.

While there was a clear majority of whites at Donald Trump's massive rally in New York, there was a much greater racial mix at Harris' meeting.

While Trump had more men than women, the opposite was true for Harris.

Ueda Bowie, 54, came with her daughter, Sela, 14, to experience what she feels is a historic moment.

-I think Kamala can do it. “I hope and believe that women across the United States are voting with their hearts to protect our democracy,” she says.

-This is so big, it's so nice to share it with my youngest daughter.

Salah cannot vote for four years, but he is already involved in politics.

-For me, Kamala symbolizes freedom. It gives hope to women of color, and really to all women in the United States. “I hope she wins and runs for re-election, so I can vote for her in four years,” she says.

Kenny Chirag, 39, wore a sun hat with a pattern “Harris's White Men”.

It is time to end Donald Trump's decade of political madness. He says: I hope and believe that Kamala Harris is the one who can mean the end for Trump.

-At least I did my part: I pre-voted for Kamala Harris!
