forInvica and Porto will enter the race to sign Joris Chautard, a player who played a leading role in the French team's journey to the Olympic final, where they ended up losing to Spain.
The news was reported on Sunday by Marc Mchinwa, a reporter for French newspaper Le Parisien, who adds that Wolfsburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach have also shown interest in making a move for the 22-year-old defensive midfielder.
In recent weeks, the young promise has also been linked with a “harassment” of Rennes, so negotiations are expected to move forward “in the next few days”, especially with the summer transfer market closing in less than two weeks.
Joris Choutard (who is at the end of his contract) has completed his entire training at Montpellier, having made his debut with the first team in 2019. Since then he has made 161 official appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
After becoming very interested, Joris Schottard is courted in Portugal and Germany. Benfica and Porto are interested in Wolfsburg and Mönchengladbach. The procedure could take place in the following days. #mercato
