DrFollowing news of the death of actor Johnny Wactor, last Saturday, May 25, the artist's brother, Grant Wactor, broke his silence and spoke to People magazine.
Grant Wactor reported that his brother was leaving work with a co-worker and they were walking to their car after their shift.
Johnny Wactor reportedly realized his car was “jacked up” and thought it was “being towed.” However, they were trying to steal the car's catalytic converter, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Grant Wactor believes the robbers “didn't expect anyone to show up and were scared.” He added: “There is nothing more dangerous than a coward with a gun in his hand.”
He explained that the artist had placed himself in front of his colleague when he was shot. After the shooting, the attackers fled, and have not been arrested yet. Johnny Wactor ended up dying in the hospital.
“He was a good person. He was taken too soon and no one should be taken that way,” Grant stressed, noting that his brother “lived life to the fullest.”
