Naná and Joaquim enter the supermarket and invite Tadeu and Noémia to their wedding. Remedios and Almeno come out from behind the shelf laughing and say they’ve already been invited. The four get into mischief and pressure the couple to go, each on his own. Nomiya tells them she has to go to her granddaughter’s birthday party and leaves.
Ana receives a console from Pedro and tells him it is the best gift ever. Guilty, Carolina warns him that he should not offer her anything so expensive. Vanda enters T bar with a gift to give to Anna, but Teresa and Carolina try to stop her. The doctor turns it in and Anna is disappointed to see that it is a sinister doll. Leaving the bar, Vanda has a falling out with Noémia and throws the birthday cake on the floor.
Nelson arrives at the hospital and finds Silvia and Maria, who are very nervous waiting for Mario’s operation to finish. PJ tells them he was late because he was at Carmo’s interrogation. His mother tells him that his brother is in danger of losing a leg, adding to his anxiety.
In the T barPedro and Tiago emerge from the kitchen with an impromptu cake, and sing Happy Birthday to Ana, who becomes even more excited. Carolina’s daughter blows out the candles and says her wish is for her grandfather to return. On the other hand, Olavu is sitting on the bed, emotional, singing happy birthday to his granddaughter.
Barbara walks into Vanda’s office, ready to gossip when the doctor, who has been out of her line of sight, asks her if there is any more knocking on the door. Barbara is confused and explains that she is worried about Benedetta because of Olavo’s disappearance.
Upon leaving Vanda’s office, Barbara calls Theresa and tells her she is about to be arrested. He explains that although the villain says she is very worried about Olafu, her expression does not show it. Teresa asked when the villain was leaving that day.
Elsa sees news of Vasil’s victory and shows it to her husband. However, Vasyl does not have the same overreaction, as he is worried about Mario. Elsa warns him that he might be happy for his victory and not with someone who has already beaten him twice.
Maria, Silvia, and Cesare are with Mario, who apologizes to them for the horror he has caused. Nelson’s brother asked his father how the process went and Cesar told him that, unfortunately, he would never be able to compete again. Mario is in shock.
Vanda gets a call from Andrade saying that Olavu has a fever and it won’t go down no matter how much medicine he gives him. The villain tells him she is on her way and he takes her things to leave the office.
In the hospital corridor, Teresa tells Barbara that she wants to follow Vanda. Barbara is very worried, but the twins’ mother assures her that everything will be fine. Teresa gets into a car and tells the driver to follow the doctor’s car. Vanda looks in the rearview mirror and notices something strange.
Mario is completely out of control and accuses his father of having done it on purpose so he could never compete again. Maria and Silvia try to calm him down and warn that nothing he says makes sense. Cesare assures that he did everything to make him look good. Mario accuses him of ruining his life and his mother warns him that there is more to life than motocross.
Vanda realizes she is being followed and calls the security guard, explaining that it will take some time because she has to pass a car. At this, he takes the opportunity to ask if Olavo still has a fever and Andrade confirms it.
The security guard entered Olavo’s room and, following Vanda’s directions, pulled the blanket off him. Showing that he is very ill, Olavu asks them to take him to the hospital. Andrade warns him that he can do nothing. As soon as he leaves, Olafo gets up without difficulty and puts out the lamp.
