Counterpoint has revealed its list of best-selling smartphones for 2023, and for the first time in history, iPhones occupy all seven top spots. According to the report, which takes into account all the hundreds of new phones available on the market, the top ten list represents 20% of the market. All iPhone models on the market, except the iPhone SE, are the seven best-selling models.
The three iPhone 14 models sit at the top of this ranking, with the cheapest model coming in first. The iPhone 15 models, launched in September 2023, occupy the fifth, sixth and seventh positions. In fourth place comes the iPhone 13, which is the cheapest model on this list, as The Verge says Ars Technica. The SE model, which is the cheapest iPhone on the market, did not enter the top ten, with Apple failing to attract users to this version with an old-fashioned design and smaller size.
The previous year, in 2022, Apple occupied eight places in the top ten, with the SE included there, but in fourth place on the list was a model from Samsung.
This year, the South Korean manufacturer occupies the last positions in the top ten, but with slightly more “unknown” models than the popular Z Fold or Galaxy S. In eighth place is the Galaxy A14 5G, in ninth place is the cheap Galaxy A40e and in tenth place is the Galaxy A40e. A14.
