Indiana Jones – Disclosure

First, this classic character’s game will be cross-platform, however, after Bethesda’s purchase by Microsoft, Indiana Jones has become an Xbox exclusive.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most successful movie franchises. In this way, having a game based on the films makes fans, especially the most nostalgic ones, very excited.

However, the fact that the game became exclusive left a part of the players extremely dissatisfied.

After many have asked the reason for this change, we will tell you the reason for all these changes that led to this end. Check it out below.

After all, why did Indiana Jones become an Xbox exclusive?

This information occurred during the court hearing between the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and Microsoft. This is because the FTC gave a negative opinion on the Activision Blizzard buyout.

The news was reported by Bethesda’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Pete Haynes.

Pete actually stated that the game would be cross-platform, however, the contract changed after Microsoft bought Bethesda. Thus, Indiana Jones became an Xbox exclusive.

The VP also mentioned that one of the reasons this happens is that developing just one platform is a much simpler process, as there is no need to run multiple tests on other consoles.

The point that was also very relevant to this decision was that, in this way, the game could get more attention from the team, thus ensuring its superiority.

Despite this, it should be noted that Heinz ended his speech by saying that the singularity issue can still be analyzed.

In this way, we cannot say that after its release, the game will remain exclusive.

about the game

Announced in January 2021, Indiana Jones has even received a teaser. On the other hand, after that, we did not have any other news about its development. As of now, there is no information about its launch but it is certain that it will be available for Xbox Series XS and PC.
