September brings news to Centro Colombo in Lisbon with the opening of IKEA’s first pop-up store in Portugal. Located on Level 0, in the access corridor to Praça Central, the new store will be a space featuring a selection of products, including accessories and small furniture, with an initial focus on the Sono range.
The IKEA pop-up store will be open until February 2025, and will offer a diverse product offering that will be updated frequently. In addition, a mobile IKEA collection point will open at the same time in the Colombo car park, which operates by appointment.
“It is with great excitement that we see another renowned global brand choosing Centro Colombo for the first time in a new store format. The opening of the IKEA pop-up store not only reinforces the commitment to innovation, but also the dynamism and holistic shopping experience that our visitors can enjoy in one place,” says Paulo Gomes, Colombo Director.
In turn, Irene Shi, Commercial Director of IKEA Portugal, highlights: “IKEA arrived in Portugal 20 years ago, and an important part of the strong relationship between the brand and the Portuguese is due to our ability to innovate and always seek to be there for people. On the one hand, with relevant and accessible products and solutions for your home, and on the other hand, continuing to create and strengthen channels and services that bring us closer. This store also reaffirms our desire to continue surprising and supporting our customers in their daily lives wherever they are.”
