With a weight of one kilogram and a 13.5-inch screen, the HP Elite Dragonfly G3 is one of the easiest computers ever to be carried across the editorial office. PCGuide🇧🇷 The body is made of black alloy steel and has a high quality finish. The screen offers a resolution of 1920 x 1280, but the fact that it’s anti-glare takes a little bit of the brightness out of the picture.

HP manages to fit some full-size entries, even with the ultra-thin chassis. There are two USB Type C ports with USB 4 and Thunderbolt (which can also be used to charge the battery), one USB Type A (it has the peculiarity of closing with a flap, to make it thinner when not in use), full-size HDMI and a 3.5 mm jack

Really missing graphics
The technical characteristics are quite interesting: the HP Elite Dragonfly G3 has a twelfth generation Intel Core i7 processor with ten cores, which can reach 4.7 GHz, and 32 GB of LPDDR5-6400 RAM. The only thing missing is a real graphics card, because this computer uses the card built into the processor. It was certainly a decision made to keep this machine thinner and also to increase autonomy. However, Intel’s GPUs still fall far short in terms of performance, compared to what can be achieved with a more efficient unit.

Dragonfly shines in autonomy
Despite having a large memory and latest generation processor, Dragonfly’s performance is not impressive. For example, it managed to stay below the EliteBook 645 G9 in our productivity tests, which is a laptop that packs an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro and has plenty of RAM.

But on the battery, the Dragonfly really shines: with its 720 minutes of autonomy in tests with applications, it is the second best laptop to pass this year. Returning to the comparison with the EliteBook 645 G9, the Dragonfly managed another two hundred minutes.
