Talking about REV is talking about a reversing detector that will allow you to detect and alert people and objects behind the car.

According to a study conducted, it was found that among the accidents involving vehicles and pedestrians, 41% could have been avoided through camera-based systems.  If only ultrasonic sensors had been used, 31% of accidents could have been avoided.
