Despite its scheduled release in March 2023, the higher series Honor Magic 5 has completely fallen apart.
It is now known that the models will arrive powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, with prices starting at 700 euros.
Expected specifications of Honor Magic 5 series
The new Magic 5 series is supposed to be officially presented only in March 2023, but today the specifications of all its models, as well as the prices at which they will be launched on the market, were revealed.
The new series contains three terminals: Magic 5, Magic 5 Pro and Magic 5 Prestige Edition. All models come with a 6.8-inch LPTO OLED display that delivers a dynamic refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz and up to 1,100 nits.
All models will run Magic UI 7.0, based on Android 13, as well as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in the controls with integrated LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 5.0 storage – capabilities remain unknown.
The base model will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support while the remaining models will have a 4,800mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
In terms of optics, we highlight the Magic 5 Prestige Edition model, which will have a Sony IMX989 sensor as the main camera, an inch and a resolution of 50 megapixels. This is exactly the same sensor as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
Of course, the prices will also be different. The Magic 5 arrives in the Chinese market with a starting price of 4,999 yuan, or about 700 euros. The price of the Magic 5 Pro will start at 5999 yuan, or about 840 euros.
The most expensive Honor Magic 5 Prestige will be priced at 7,999 yuan (1,115 euros) for a configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
