Honor has just announced the launch of its latest tablet, which is Honor Pad X9. The launch is part of a series of important moves by the company, which also includes the global debut of the Honor 90 range and the anticipation of a new foldable device.
A step ahead in the tablet line
Honor Pad X9 is introduced as a significant evolution of its predecessor, Pad X8. The new tablet is distinguished by its large screen, long battery life and an audio system consisting of six speakers.
The design of the Honor Pad X9 continues the line of the Pad X8 Pro that was recently launched in China. However, it does feature an 11.5-inch FullView display, which offers a sharp resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and supports 120Hz refresh rate. Despite its powerful features, the tablet maintains a sleek profile with a thickness of just 6.9mm and weighs around 495g.
performance and features
The Honor Pad X9 is not only attractive on the outside but also impressive on the inside. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 platform, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The tablet also excels in the audio department, with six speakers providing a 360-degree audio experience. To ensure that the device keeps running, Honor has equipped the Honor Pad X9 with a 7,250mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging.
The tablet comes pre-installed with Android 13, and it runs on the MagicOS 7.1 interface, which brings a number of exclusive features, such as HONOR Connect.
Availability and price
The Honor Pad X9 has been launched in the UK market in Space Gray, with a price tag of £179.99.
Customers who choose to purchase the tablet through HiHonor will receive a pair of Honor Earbuds X5 as an added bonus. Honor has not yet released details about the availability of the Honor Pad X9 in other markets.
