Everyone added a day to their free time, without any pay cuts. “They are very satisfied,” confirms the director, Sergio Vieira, convinced that “it is only a matter of time” before this system becomes public.

“Given the context in which we live, the acceleration of technology, and the expectations of new generations, who no longer ‘live for work’ and who prefer time more, I have no doubt that it will be inevitable. We just decided to anticipate the future,” he says. . On the four working days, the hours shifted from eight to nine, but the official believes that this extra hour does not mean changes in the routines of most workers, as the time they lost on daily trips to offices, in Lisbon and Braga, which ended in September, when The company has moved to remote work.
