Things did not go well for Division II football team Hannover 96. On Saturday, for more than an hour, SSV could not cross the draw 1-1 (1-1) against John Regensburg.

So it’s already clear: Coach Kristop Dabrowski’s team will not meet managing director Martin Kind’s demand to win the first two games after the international break. Despite winning the final match of the Erskabirz Ayu the next May Day, Hannover was able to score only 96 four points. Lower Saxony is 16th with a four-point lead, which is in the exit rankings.

“At Aue we want to get three points. Today we are two behind,” 96 captain Marcel Franke told NDR.

96 lags behind the standard

Attacker Lucas Hindersier is not on the “Reds” squad. Eight days ago, due to disappointment over young professional Tim Walbrecht, Dabrowski was forced by the Austrian to finish the training session prematurely. Hendrik Wyandotte took the lead against SSV John.

For a long time, I could not see much about him or his colleagues. In front of 9,200 spectators it was a dull affair – until the upper palate suddenly started. Saralambose McRae flicked the ball in the direction of the top right corner from the left corner of the penalty area – from the right to the bottom edge of the crossbar, from where it bounced towards the goal line (22 ‘). Before the Lower Saxons ranked themselves correctly, it was already 0: 1 (23rd). After a corner, Andreas Albers took his own place against Sebastian Kerk and Sai Muroya and nodded to lead the guests.

Red for Regensburg, equals the pride of Hanover

After a while they weakened themselves. Carlo Foucault looked right at the red card for his kick against Dominique Kaiser’s knee (26th). 96 used a majority in the first half: former Regensburg Sebastian Stols header from Kaiser’s free kick – 1: 1 (39th). As a result we went into the break.

96 Pro Kaiser A good chance to get the lead

After the restart, it took a long time for the game to restart. Albers lost to 96 goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler in the 69th minute, soon after Cedric Tichard (76th) shot. However, overall, there was very little that the North Germans could do against the destroyed guests.

But suddenly it was a big chance for the “Reds”: Muroya’s shot bounced off guest keeper Alexander Meyer (88th) with Moussa Tumbuya. Regensburg finally brought the draw over time. This is only a small step for the Hanoverians, who have previously suffered three consecutive defeats in the league.
