Grupo Visabeira buys German electricity to boost the country’s energy supply – Empresas

Portugal’s Visabeira Group has bought German electric company Elektro-Würkner GmbH to expand its business in Germany. Subsidiary Constructel Visabeira announced the deal on Thursday, without paying for the acquisition.

Present in the European and American markets, Elektro-Würkner GmbH, a subsidiary of the Visabeira Group operating in the telecommunications and energy sector, has acquired Elektro-Würkner GmbH. The German company was founded in 1965, and currently it has about 230 employees. According to the company’s statement, this is one of the largest German companies in the telecommunications sector and has a presence in the field of renewable energy.

“Extensive experience and a combination of technical and human skills make Elektro-Würkner GmbH the ideal partner for Constructel Visabeira, thus enhancing the huge capabilities that the Portuguese company has already secured in the field of telecom and energy network engineering services in the German market,” he says.
