On Friday night, Bedfordshire Police received a report of a domestic disturbance at an address in the town of Button in Bedfordshire in England, he writes. Sky News.
Two officers responded, but headed to the wrong address, as they allegedly walked around the property and looked in the windows.
He is said to have frightened the 81-year-old, who according to his son suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

The police themselves explained the incident as follows:
Two uniformed officers responded to a report of disturbances in Bouton around 5 p.m. Friday, but initially headed to the wrong address. When they left the house, he approached them on the static street carrying a wooden tool, the police wrote Twitter.

The son of the 81-year-old, who came to the scene when his father was taken to the police car, told the camera that his father had a stroke and was seriously ill.

The police also wrote in the statement that officers had called several units for help in dealing with the 81-year-old.
– Before the arrival of several units, an argument arose in which one of our officers tried to take the tool from the inhabitant. Then she was injured in the face. A man in his 80s was arrested and charged with violence against an official.

The 81-year-old grandfather was taken to a police car and detained.
The man’s grandson posted pictures showing his grandfather covered in blood and bruises.
– He was terrified and sick. Ten officers and six police cars were needed to arrest him. Maybe a heart attack gave him superpowers? He’s in custody – confused and bloody after trying to defend himself, Kayla wrote on Twitter.
It is not known if the man actually had a heart attack during the arrest, or if this was something he had experienced in the past.
At the same time, the grandson asks if anyone has a good lawyer to recommend him.

After Kayla posted the photos on social media, the police station was flooded with criticism in the form of Twitter messages.

Police Chief Julie Henderson of Bedfordshire Police said in a statement to the online community that they understand the concern, and makes it clear that they are reviewing the matter internally.
– We also voluntarily contacted the Special Unit – to be completely transparent and open, and to see if there was anything we could learn from the incident. In the coming days, the well-being of the participants will be our number one priority, Henderson says.
The old man was later released from custody.
