GoPro has already revealed when it will officially introduce the new GoPro Hero 11 Black. And the American company revealed, through a short video clip posted on social media, that the show will take place on Wednesday, September 14.
This will be the next generation of GoPro, but the manufacturer will give consumers other options. The GoPro Hero 11 Black will not arrive alone, it will arrive accompanied by the GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini.
GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini is this year’s GoPro surprise
As pointed out by the WinFuture website, the mini version will arrive with very similar features to the basic version. This means they can get a new 27MP sensor, and support for video recording up to 5.3K at 60fps (frames per second).
Additionally, 4K recording at 120 fans and 2.7K at 240fps will be available. It must be controlled by a GP2 processor and has HyperSmooth 5.0 technology. But there will be one big difference in the flagship model: the lack of screens.
To be “mini”, the Hero 11 Black Mini abandons two flagship models. Thus, users will have to use their smartphone to access what they are filming at that time or at a later time.
For the price, the lack of screens will also make a difference in the sales values to the audience. The GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini is expected to arrive in Europe for €449, while the Hero 11 Black is expected to be priced at €549.
Interestingly, GoPro’s great competitor in the sector – DJI – will also introduce a new motion model on Wednesday. It will be called the DJI Osmo Action 3, and it will be interesting to understand the competitor’s approach.
