Sony tried to make PSN login mandatory with Helldivers 2. But after numerous complaints from players, they backed down and said it would become mandatory from God of War Ragnarok onwards. The game is available and PC gamers have already shown their dissatisfaction with this issue.

Available for 5 hours on Steam, the game has, so far, peaked at over 22k players (can it pass the first game?) at the moment. In that time, it has collected nearly 900 reviews, of which 300 are negative so far.

Many of these refer to complaints from players who didn't like the mandatory PSN login in God of War Ragnarok for PC, even though the title is 100% single-player. It's also possible to find reports of the mouse becoming unresponsive during the game.

Looking at the negative reviews, I also saw owners of video cards with less than 6 GB of VRAM complaining about not being able to open the game due to low memory. In the minimum requirements, the developers list GTX 1060, RX 5500 XT, 6 and 8 GB GPUs, so be careful about that.

According to NVIDIA, in its tests, God of War Ragnarok performs well at 1080p and the preset maximum using the GeForce RTX 4060, which can deliver over 60fps on average without the help of DLSS.
