Starting on Monday the ninth of this month, the influenza vaccination campaign will include new groups: teachers, people with comorbidities and disabilities and the indigenous population of Rio Preto. Vaccination is available in basic health units, from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Other groups already included in the campaign – the elderly, health workers, children from six months to less than five years old, pregnant women and postpartum women – continue to receive the dose.
To be vaccinated, everyone must present personal documents and a vaccination card.
Educators must also provide proof of employment while people with comorbidities and disabilities must provide a document proving the condition, such as a prescription or a prescription.
It is estimated that 5,742 teachers and 20,831 people with comorbidities were vaccinated in Rio Preto. The goal of the Ministry of Health is to vaccinate at least 90% of each target audience covered by the campaign.

Measles vaccination campaign
The measles vaccination campaign continues for health workers and children aged six months to less than five years.
For health workers, vaccination is considered selective, that is, only those who have received less than two doses in their lifetime will receive the vaccine.
As for children, the vaccination is random, that is, everyone in the expected age group should receive a dose of the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine. To date, 3,039 children have been vaccinated, 12.84% of the total.
The measles dose is available at all UBS in Rio Preto, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The vaccine is also freely available in seven private clinics in Rio Preto:
