Gallino’s strong season in the white and blue team has made him an attractive target in the market and, as JN has discovered, the winger is one of the players who will be on the move in the coming weeks. And with the voice of financial director Fernando Gomez, the SAD blue and white assumed a few days ago that they had to sell players by the end of June to balance the accounts and the Brazilian striker could introduce the right solutions in a big way.
Rented in January last year from Braga, for nine million euros, Galleno gained influence in Sergio Conceicao’s team in 2022/23 and finished the season with very positive numbers: 52 appearances (36 starts), 15 goals and six assists. He emerged in the Champions League (he participated in eight matches that Porto played in the competition, seven of them as a starter, and scored two goals, both against Bayer Leverkusen, one in Dragau and the other in Germany), after he finished the season with a great performance in the Portuguese Cup final.
