The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is Samsung’s latest high-end smartphone – in addition to the traditional rectangular front screen, it also has a 7-inch foldable internal display. It is a device that can be as compact as other mobile phones and quickly turn into a small tablet. Moreover, this is the first model with a semi-hidden internal camera built into the display. It is the mobile for those who want to have everything in one device and do not mind spending a lot for it (more than 1800 euros). Is it worth it? It depends on what you want. Primarily due to the higher value, we felt it might be more valuable.

Z Fold3 (let’s just call it the big name) is available in two versions: one with 256 GB of internal memory and 12 GB of RAM (yes, 12 GB); And another, for those who really don’t want to risk running out of space, with 512GB. As a foldable screen smartphone, it has a total of three cameras: one on the 6.2-inch front screen, one built into a 7.6-inch foldable screen, and even a triple-lens camera on the back of the device. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor, is water-resistant (IPX8) and has an internal protective layer that “lasts 80% longer” than the previous model – we didn’t scratch it with a switch, but it felt waterproof.
Samsung introduces a foldable smartphone with a hidden camera under the screen
Compared to the last foldable, this new model now allows you to use the brand’s digital pens – the S Pen – to write on the foldable screen. Important news considering that Samsung didn’t introduce new versions of the Note this year. However, similar to what happens with the charger and headphones, although there is compatibility with the S Pen, this is not included with the smartphone. In three animations, we show the strengths of this device.
