Fundação Santander Portugal offers 5,000 new scholarships to develop digital skills – Executive Summary

Fundação Santander Portugal has launched 5,000 new scholarships for those who want to develop digital skills – such as creating landing pages, websites, apps and software using artificial intelligence – without having to learn programming.

After the success of the first edition, launched in March, for which the first 5,000 places were allocated, the course has been developed again in partnership with the NoCode Institute, targeting all people who wish to acquire knowledge, despite not having technical training. in these areas and use it in the future as an added value in the labor market.

The program is available entirely online, and is implemented intensively over two weeks and in three stages: the first focuses on learning visual programming and developing digital skills; the second is dedicated to developing a real digital project; and finally, developing a digital transformation plan.

Scholarships will be awarded in Portugal only and are intended for all Portuguese or residents in Portugal, over 18 years of age, who have as a prerequisite a basic level of English and knowledge of computers and the Internet from a user's point of view.

Out of 5,000 candidates participating in the course, 100 participants will be selected and will receive a scholarship that will allow them to deepen their knowledge.

Applications are open until September 25th at Santander Open Academy.
