FTR hopes for the future after WWE’s bet on Cody Rhodes

Since Cody Rhodes left AEW and returned to WWE, the wrestler has become one of the most important wrestlers in the company, as he will be in the WWE The main event From WrestleMania 39.

“American Nightmare” has been very well received by fans and WWE is betting on his future as one of its main faces.

In an interview with Nick Hausman on the Haus of Wrestling Podcast, FTR’s Dax Harwood stated that the duo are re-evaluating their futures in light of Cody Rhodes’ treatment in WWE:

If you said no, it would be a complete lie because it was pretty clear what happened with AEW and Cody. So WWE could have picked him and really done whatever he wanted since he wasn’t able to return to AEW.

But seeing that they took him seriously and allowed him to be such a big star definitely made me and Cash look into that a lot more than we’d ever done before. They did a great job with him and Cody did a great job with himself too.

He’s had opportunities, but it’s all about what you do with chances, because he could have been given the opportunity and he just missed it. But he believes in himself.

I am really close to Cody. We probably talk at least once a week, I’m really proud of him and I’m sure he’s proud of us too.

But yeah, it definitely made us re-evaluate the things we could do in the future.

It should be noted that FTR is about to end their contract with AEW and they have already promised that they will leave the company if they are unable to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship from The Gunns.
