‘Focused on how bad they wanted me’: Cristina Ferreira makes ‘most personal engagement ever’

On Saturday January 14, Christina Ferreira presented the second edition of Christina Talks. In total, 10,000 people attended the Altice Arena in Lisbon.

After the event, on her social networks, the presenter and director of entertainment and fiction at TVI shared several messages from the audience. As a thank you, Christina Ferreira decided to share a “personal” video.

“The video you will see below is my most personal post ever. But after yesterday this is the only possible way to say thanks,” the presenter wrote on her Instagram.

“Two days ago, I cried a lot at night. During rehearsals I was calm but I walked around with knots that invaded my body and throat. Expectations were so high, people came from far away, and I repeated to myself: they come looking for something. And there were 10,000. I was never afraid of anything But I knew that recent times have been transformative… What’s in this video is a very personal post, because I’ve never done that. There’s Christina that you’ve never seen before. But after what happened yesterday, that’s the only way I can say thank you.”

In the video, while driving, Christina Ferreira says she is “sick of crying.” “I’m totally devastated. I’m tired of crying. You don’t know what happened this morning. There are things I can’t do (…) I go get the first pair of shoes I’ve bought, I go to the closet, I take them off and it’s not like I have a picture of the lady inside shoe,” he says.

“I think over the past two years I’ve focused on how badly they wanted me,” he says.
