Find out when the next Xiaomi bombshell will arrive

The smartphone market is booming. After Google unveiled the Pixel 9, Apple followed suit and introduced the iPhone 16 with new features. This scenario shouldn’t end there, and Xiaomi is already preparing its response. The Xiaomi 14T is almost here and we already know when Xiaomi’s next bombshell will arrive.

Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date of its 14T series smartphones. The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are scheduled to launch globally on September 26. On that day, all the details that have been developed for the brand's new smartphones will finally be confirmed.

Furthermore, Xiaomi continues its strategic partnership with Leica. Both new phones will be designed with Leica lenses and color enhancements, just like last year’s Xiaomi 13T series devices. The brand also emphasized “cinematic art and humanistic photography” in its new smartphone. This indicates new additions to Leica’s color profiles.

The launch page shows silhouettes of the new devices that appear to have flat edges and parallel square camera islands. Xiaomi also confirmed that both devices will come with a one-time out-of-warranty repair, no additional labor charges, and a one-time free screen repair.

This 14T lineup will consist of two models, the Xiaomi 14T and the Xiaomi 14T Pro, and they will be very similar, both relying on a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also be difficult to tell them apart, with a camera array housed in a square block.

The biggest differences between the two devices will be in the hardware. Both will use MediaTek processors instead of Snapdragon, and the Xiaomi 14T will have the Dimensity 8300 Ultra, while the Pro model will have the Dimensity 9300+. The cameras will be similar, with a 50MP main sensor, accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The only difference, if there is one, will be in the sensors.

The price revealed for the Xiaomi 14T will be €699, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be €899. In both cases, this will mean an increase compared to Q13, but it is important to remember that its competitors, including Google, have gone up even more. All these rumors will be clarified on September 26.
