Crisis Center: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion – Dec. 13 – PS5, XBSX/S, Playstation 4XB, SW, PC

The remaster of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, originally released for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2007, introduces a series of improvements to the game and looks like a remake. Final Fantasy 7 prequel takes place 7 years before the original game and follows the story of Zack Fair, a character mentioned in the original game but without further details. Throughout its story, players will learn more about the Shinra Corporation’s soldier special force, the company’s dark secrets, and the evil pasts of characters such as Aeris, Cloud, Tifa, and Sephiroth.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion’s battle system mixes action, RPG, and roulette called Digital Mind Wave (DMW), which adds a certain level of randomness to combat with the chance to draw “limited breaks” or powerful summons. Additionally, the game’s visuals have been refreshed at 4K resolution on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X, as well as 120fps on the PC version.
