Fapec launches a podcast channel on science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship

The Foundation for the Support of Research, Education and Culture (Fapec) launched the “Conexão Fapec” podcast on its major streaming platform, Spotify, on Monday, 23. Access the link by clicking here to listen to Episode 1 of the new production. New interviews will be released weekly on the platforms.

The podcast aims to popularize, simplify and increasingly disseminate science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. The audios are recorded in the building of the Agency for Digital and Distance Education (Agead), at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), and edited by the EAD studio team. Journalist Thaís Pimenta presents the project.

According to the director of the foundation’s president, Nilde Brun, the product is a way to celebrate 40 years of Fapec, which is celebrated in April of this year. “Audio media has been increasingly sought after, and therefore we are investing specifically in this connection, in order to bring together researchers, professors and students interested in research and innovation topics,” he explains.

The first episode of “Fapec Connection” features the participation of biologist, master, doctor and professor of the Medical Faculty of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (famous), James Venturini, in the project implemented by Fapec and coordinated by James, “Laboratory to support the diagnosis of Covid-19 for public and private services”.
