The Brazilian comedian from “Door of the back” arrived in Bragança today for an RTP project about Saramago’s work.
“Good morning, Brazil. Good evening, Portugal! You’ve arrived, Saramago, I’ll use you!!!”. This is how Fabio Borchat announced, on social networks, that he is in our country. The Brazilian comedian, founder of the group “Porta dos Fundos”, arrived in Braganca yesterday, ready to record a new project for RTP.
In “Viagem a Portugal”, Porchat will visit the cities mentioned in the homonymous book by José Samarago, where the landscape is the main character. Among them, the city of Riana, where the Brazilian artist began a work that will take place between this month and February, under the direction of Ivan Dias.
In Brazil, the press presents that Fábio Porchat has been chosen for the success that “Backdoor” has had here. On YouTube, the comedy video channel has 17 million followers. Also last year, his show “Que História é essa, Porchat” beat the Portuguese after debuting on Globo.
The artist came to Portugal before, not only to work with stand-up comedy shows but also for entertainment. On vacation, he wandered in Braga and Guimarães, but he was also fascinated by the beaches, along with gastronomy. When traveling from Lisbon to Porto, he never fails to stop at Milhada for the usual suckling pig. Now, he’s back on a journey with the documentary series and Saramago’s works.
Currently, on the other side of the Atlantic, Fábio is on the air with Season 3 of GNT’s “What’s This Story, Porchat”, where he challenges unknown celebrities to share strange experiences.
