Codemasters and EA Sports have confirmed another circuit for F1 22. Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, better known as Portimão, will be added next Tuesday (2) via a free update.
Portimão is back on the competition schedule for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. With its 4,684 km contest run, the track is “notorious for its steep incline before the last right turn and full acceleration to the finish line,” according to the developer. .

Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director of the franchise, spoke about the importance of Portimão’s arrival in F1 22:
We know that our players love the thrill of competing on more circuits and that few new features could be more exciting than Portimão. Portimao is highly regarded for its rich history, and our players will love the challenge of driving cars designed for 2022 on the sacred circuit for the first time.
There are more circuits coming to F1 22
